	BIO
Nic Pehkonen (b. 1969) is an artist and part-time nuclear professional based in Gloucestershire, UK. He works with sculpture, moving image, sound and text with a current focus on intertwined subjects of nuclear power, weapons and waste, primarily with a UK centric focus.
He also works under the alias of the Nuclear Information Centre (NIC), a quasi-official sounding organisation and nomadic visitor centre where official and unofficial informational boundaries are frequently blurred, nuclear fact and fiction become actively entangled, and questions of selectivity and trust are tacitly raised.Although largely self-taught, Nic holds an MA in Fine Art from the University of Gloucestershire.
For enquiries, contact Nic HERE

You can also find Nic’s work on Vimeo, Soundcloud and Instagram too which he uses primarily as a “digital sketchbook” but also as an outlet for sharing other nuclear related material, thoughts and information.
